DeNami Design: Sailboat Owl Party Favor Box

Hi Everyone! Elizabeth here with another project for DeNami Design. Summer is here and everyone is having summer parties so I thought I would give you a great idea for a little party favor for your parties. I made a Sailboat Owl Gift Favor Box. If you are having a nautical themed party this will be perfect for you but you can easily change this for any party!

This is a quick and easy project so making them parties won’t take that long! To make this box I die cut the stripe pattern paper using Lawn Fawn Milk Carton die. To create the milk carton you will need 2 sheets of 6×6 paper. You want to make sure that you use a good quality paper so that the box will hold up. To assemble the box, I creased all the fold lines before I adhered everything together. I used my tape runner to assemble the box. For the Sailboat Owl, I stamped the Medium Dot Circle Frame in Memento Danube Blue dye ink and then the Medium Sailboat Owl in Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink on smooth white cardstock. To color in the owl, I used Copic markers to do some quick coloring. I used a scalloped circle punch to cut out the owl and agreed it to the box with foam tape. I found some clothes line clips in my stash and there just happen to be yellow, so I used it to close the top of the box.

I hope that you like this project and that you get some ideas for any parties that you have this year!

DeNami Design: Coffee Gift Card Box

Hi Everyone! Elizabeth here with another post for DeNami Designs. I know a lot of coffee drinkers but personally I’m not one of them. I don’t like coffee at all. So I struggle with what to get coffee loving friends and family. Then I figured out that there is no better gift than a gift card to their favorite coffee shop and for most of my friends and family that is Starbucks. I used Starbucks colors as the inspiration for making a gift card box.

CoffeePillowBox

This project is very easy and fast to make, so you can make lots of them for birthdays, holidays and even parties! First I made the gift card box using the Lawn Fawn Pillow Box die. I chose a pattern paper that is white with green polka dots. Assembling the boxes easy! Just fold the 2 score lines that die creates for you and use tape runner or liquid glue on the tab. The ends of the box have flaps that you just fold in. One of the flaps has a notch and I do recommend folding that flap in first to get a clean look. Next, I stamps the Medium Happy-Cino on smooth white cardstock and colored it in with Copic markers. I kept the coloring simple by not doing any shading but if you want to, you can because the image is large enough. I used a scalloped circle punch to cut out the coffee and then adhered it with liquid glue. I hope that you enjoyed my project for today and that it inspires you to make some fun gift card boxes!

DeNami Designs Sneak Peek #5: Chickie Bugs!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to day 5 of DeNami Designs Sneak Peek on my blog! Todays theme is Chickie Bugs! Now normally I don’t like bugs but these bugs are so cute! She combined her adorable chickies with bugs and came up with these adorable designs. My favorite is the Chickie Bumble Bee! For my project today I thought it would be fun to do a quick and easy little gift box that could be used as a party favor for a summer party!

ChickieBee

To create this adorable box, I stamped the Medium Dot Circle Frame in Lawn Fawn’s Sunflower dye ink Then I stamped the Chickie Bumble Bee in the middle of the circle using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink. To color in the chickie i used Copic markers and added some sparkle to the wings using Wink of Stella in Clear. Unfortunately, you can’t see the sparkle in the picture but I promise it’s there! Next, I used a scallop circle punch to cut out the chickie bumble bee. For the favor box, I used a the Pillow Box Die and sheet of plaid paper from their Perfectly Plaid collection. The die has score lines so that assembly is easy. I used Tombow Extreme Adhesive to assemble the box and adhere the chickie bumble bee to the top. This box is fun and colorful and would make a great favor box for any summer party! See you tomorrow!

DeNami Design & Lawn Fawn: Adorable Little Gift Boxes

Giving small treats is always fun and when you have a cute little box to put them in it’s even better! A lot of DeNami’s designs are perfect for projects like these! You can make these for all kinds of occasions and holidays!

For these projects I used Lawn Fawn Pillow Box Die and Milk Carton Die to create the boxes. The pattern papers are 6×6 pads from Doodlebug that I bought specifically with these in mind. I assembled the boxes using Tombow tape runner. For the images, I picked a couple of different stamps and stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock. I kept the coloring simple with Copic markers and did not do any shading. To cut out the images I used a scalloped punch and attached them with Scotch foam tape to the boxes. To add a little sparkle and shine I used Pico Embellisher in Shimmer on the balloons. If I would have though of it I would have added it to the ice cream also. These are fun and simple little boxes that you can create in a snap!

Below is a list of supplies that I used along with links where you can purchase them! Enjoy!

DeNami Design: Adorable Valentine Box

Valentine’s day is coming up fast! If you need a quick and easy little gift for some one or for your kids to hand out at class this project is perfect for you!. I LOVE all DeNami’s valentine themed owls and you can use any of them for this project. This project takes about 10 minutes to complete one but you can easily mass produce if you want to do to make them for your kids class.

First, I used my milk carton die from Lawn Fawn to cut out the box. You will need 2 pieces of the same paper and run it through you die cut machine twice to make the milk carton. To assemble the carton you can use any adhesive but I used a liquid adhesive. Leave the top of the carton open so that you can put treats or a small present in the carton. I stamped my owl and the “xoxo” on white cardstock in black ink. To color the owl, I used Copic Markers. I kept the coloring simple and didn’t do any shading because I didn’t think it was needed. I used a scalloped 1 1/2” circle punch to cut out the owl and adhered it to the carton with foam tape. I found these little clothes pins with Valentine sayings at my local craft store and used it to close the carton. TIP: for the clothes pin to hold the carton closed hold the lip of the carton and push downwards carefully. This will help the paper keep its shape and the clothes pin to keep the carton close. If you don’t do this there’s a good chance that the clothes pin will pop off! This happened to me a few times before I figured out!

As always, below is a list of the supplies that I used along with where you can purchase the supplies. Enjoy!

Simple and Fast SVGCuts One Piece Boxes!

Hi everyone! I know it’s been a little while since my last post and I apologize! I have been working on making products for the upcoming Holiday season. I know it’s only July but is it really ever to early to start working on products for my favorite Holidays?! I love Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas! Today, I want to share with you some one piece gift boxes from SVGCuts. These boxes are great because you can use them for any season or any occasion just by changing the paper. Unfortunately, these will not be available in my Etsy shop. However, if you have a Cricut Explore or a Silhouette Cameo you can easily make these boxes. Below you can see 3 of the boxes that I made with the files. I decided to go a with Fall theme because I had a pretty 12×12 paper pad with fall paper.

These boxes are so simple to put together! If you want to watch the video to see how it’s assembled, just click below. I personally don’t use the same glue as Mary. Instead, I use Martha Stewart Gel Adhesive which I have provided a link to below.

I hope that you enjoyed todays post!
